Time & Location
About the Event
This Halloween weekend, join us for an evening like no other. In a one-off national special award-winning human anatomist Sam Piri brings DINNER & DISSECTION to Newcastle Upon Tyne.
“Recreating The Elephant Man for Sam has been one of the hardest tasks to date. It’s been a pleasure working on this project and I can’t wait for you to see the show. Incredible”
Roll up… roll up… step into our state-of-the-art, fully heated big top tent, grab a toffee apple, a sherry and some roasted chestnuts as we take you back to 1885 and inside Joseph Merrick -The Elephant Man. As seen on BBC Dragons’ Den Dinner & Dissection collides with Victorian medicine in the greatest show on Earth, see The Elephant Man recreated by our cutting-edge BBC special effects team before embarking on a dissection-based journey through his severely disfigured body. As the curtain goes up you’ll work with Sam Piri & his clinical team to understand just who was Joseph Merrick. You’ll explore the anatomy & physiology of his underlying medical condition through hands-on interactive dissection of real anatomical specimens.
